Abstract
Based on this research noted that storytelling activities held in school was very significant in the growth of children’s interest in reading and improving emotional intelligence, and most of the students really liked the storytelling activities in school. The purpose of storytelling activities is to attract children to love reading, understand the knowledge, and experience about the positive things that are told from thestory, thus it can improve the emotional intelligence of children. The results of this study are expected to be useful for teachers to improve their methods of storytelling for the better students.
