Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine the influence of joyful learning approach on student learning attitudes improve the 4th elementary school. Quasi-experiment and nonequivalent pretest-posttest were used. The population was all students at 4th elementary schools are divided into experimental and control class. The results showed that the joyful learning approach has an effect on the attitude of learning cognitive, effective, and conative students in learning science positively and significantly. Students who received a positive experience of cognitive learning through worthwhile subject matter, methods and appropriate learning media, as well as a good teacher. If it is supported by affective experience through exciting subject matter, methods and media learning interesting and fun as well as enthusiastic and fun, make the students have a positive desire or inclination to learn Science (conative experience).
