Abstract
Dengue hemorrhagic fever is an infectious disease characterized by sudden high fever with no obvious cause of red spots on the skin. DHF is caused by dengue virus is transmitted to humans through the bite of Aedes mosquitoes aegepty. Health centers in the region of Kembaran II Kecamatan Banyumas Central Java cases in 2011 until the month of May 2012 occurred 36 cases. Environmental factors and behavior can cause dengue fever. This research to purpose relationship between environmental factors and behavior on the incidence of dengue in the region of sub-district health center II Kembaran Kecamatan Kembaran, Banyumas, Central Java. This method used the design of observational analytic study with case-control approach. The sample in this study is the family of dengue cases as many as 30 families and control families as many as 30 families. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. Analysis using logistic regresion Resukts: Indicates that the mobilization (p=0.020) and practice (action) (p=0.038) there is a relastionship with the occurance of DHF. Room temperature while the home(p=0.554), presence of lavae (p=0.228), knowledge (p=0.165) and attitude (p=0.739) there was no association with the incidence of dengue. Based on multivariate analysis of the mobilization variables (p=0.020) were the most effect on the incidence of DHF. Conclusion there is a relationship between mobilization and practice (action) on the incidence of dengue prevention. The most dominant factor is the mobilization. Health workers in order to improve the dissemenation to the public to seek self-protected from mosquito bites using reppelent especially when travelling out to work, school and other purposes.
