Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment on work stress on employees of PT PHILNESIA Semarang. This research is a quantitative study with a population of PT.PHILNESIA Semarang production employees. The number of respondents used in this study were 50 employees. The measuring instrument used in this study is the scale of work stress and the scale of the work environment and the analysis used in this study is a simple linear regression. Calculation of a simple regression test the effect of the work environment on work stress on production employees at PT PHILNESIA Semarang obtained value F_count = 26.4446 with probability sig. (p) = 0,000 (p <0.05), it can be concluded that there is an influence of the work environment on work stress on production employees at PT PHILNESIA Semarang. It is also known that the work environment influences 35.5% of work stress.
