Abstract

The puspose of this study is to get an idea of the influence of social skills training to adolescent identity achievement orphanage in Banyumas district. Quast-experimental research design with pre-post test control group involving adolescents ages 12-20 years in three orphanages of 60 (30 intervention group and 30 control persons) selected by purposive sampling. Results showed self-identity teens increased by 5.13 points (pvalue <0.05) in the intervention group after getting a generalist therapy and social skills training. This study recommends the need for social skills training on adolescents to improve adolescent identity achievement.
