Abstract

The continuous professional development is increasing teacher competencies that are carried out according to needs, gradually, continuously to improve teacher professionalism. It includes personal development, scientific publications and innovative work. This research is motivated by the lack of certified teachers to innovate, especially in learning activities so that the researcher wants to improve the quality of learning for teachers who already have educator certificates through Continuous Professional Development. The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the implementation of professional development for certified teachers in innovating independently in Korwilcam Dindik Kalibagor?" in making learning innovations. The aims of the study is to focus intensively on one particular object by studying the low performance of certified teacher in innovating learning. The results of the Sustainable Professional Development research are expected to have an impact on improving teacher competence which impacts on the quality of students both in terms of results and learning process. Principals in the implementation of continuous professional development have a strategic role, namely as a supervisor, motivator and as an evaluator. In the aspect of personal development, teachers attend functional training and the teacher's collective activities are both carried out in the Cluster and related agencies. The teacher may also conduct scientific publications including writing on the results of research or innovative ideas in the field of formal education. Many teachers have published their works in the form of PTS, textbooks and books. In addition, the teacher also makes innovative works such as finding appropriate technology, finding / creating art works, making / modifying learning tools / teaching aids and practicing developing standards, guidelines, questions in the learning activities so that both the quality of learning and education increase.
