Abstract
The effect of Mycorrhiza Biological Agent (Acaulospora tuberculata) to the intensity of the Fusarium disease on Onion Plants (Allium ascalonicum L). This research aims to know the effect of mycorrhiza biological agents to the intensity of fusarium disease, growth and the yield of onion and the interaction influence between fusarium inoculation and the dose of mycorrhiza on the growth and onion yield. The study was conducted from November 2015 through to June 2016, taking place at field laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The research design used was Complete Randomized Design with two treatment factors, the first factor is the Fusarium oxysporum inoculation which consists of two types without Fusarium (F0) and inoculated with Fusarium (F1), while the second factor is the dose of mycorrhiza with four levels (M0) 0 g/plant, (M1) 10 g of dose/plant, (M2)20 g of dose/plant, (M3) 30 g of dose/plant, each of dose repeated four times. This research shows that treatment using Mycorrhiza did not significantly affect the intensity of fusarium wilt disease, did not significantly affect the results of onion plants and significantly affect the growth of the onion. Onion plants which was inoculated with Fusarium oxysporum (F1) causes leaf growth obstruction and provide a lower yield, there is no interconnection between treatment with mycorrhizal inoculation Fusarium oxysporum to the intensity of fusarium wilt disease. Treatment with Mycorrhizal at 20 g of dose range/plant give the best effect to the onion growth during the study.
