Abstract

Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) have ability increase the absorbtion area of roots, help plants to absorb phosphorus in the soil, in crease plant resistance from drought, increase the percentage of survival and formation of xylem in tissue culture seedlings. This study aimed to determine the varieties of bananas from in vitro cultur after acclimatization that were on the best growth response, the dosage of AMF which showed best growth respond on bananas from in vitro culture after acclimatization, and the interaction between the variety of bananas from in vitro culture who showed the best response after acclimatization. The study was conducted in Screen House of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto at a height of ±80 m above sea level and lasted for three months, from February to May 2016. Factors that tried were as follow : the first factors were banana variety of Mas and Raja Bulu Kuning, and the second factors is mychorrizal dose of 0 g/polybag, 75 g/polybag, 150 g/polybag. The date were the tabulated and analyzed by using F test (ANOVA test). If the treatment is significant then it is continued by Least Significant Difference Test (BNT) at 5% level. The result shows that the average variables of observation on leaves area, plant height, stem diameter, top wet weight and wet weight of rooting shows significantly different growth on each variety. Banana Raja Bulu Kuning shows the better growth compared with banana Mas. The dosage of AMF gives real effect on the variable of leaf area, plant height, stem diameter at the age 75-90 days after planting, as well as top wet weight, rooting wet weight, and the intensity of infection. The dosage of mychorrizal (Acaolospora tuberculata) that is the most effective from the third treatment is at a dose of 75 g/plant. While banana Raja Bulu Kuning with a dose of 75 g/plant is the best result in the growth of bananas. Mychorrizal dose is the most effective dose of wet weight and rooting wet weight.
