Abstract

The experiment was conducted in Screen House of Indonesian Institute for Vegetable Research (IIVR), Cikole Village, Lembang Sub district, West Bandung District, West Java, in October 2015 to January 2016. The purpose of this study was to get the best slip of a bud plant age and the number of (nodes ) on growth and yield of seed potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.)first generation (G1) Granola variety. The method of research used was experimental method usingin randomized block design (RBD)factorial, with four replications. The first factor was age slip of a bud plant (U) with two levels ie. u 1 = age of 2 weeks and u 2 age of 4 weeks. The second factor was the number of nodes (B) with three levels ie, b 1 = one nodes, b 2 = two nodes, and b 3 = three nodes.The results showed there was notinteraction slip of a bud plant age and number of nodes on growth and yield of seed potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.)first generation (G 1 ) Granola variety.The individnal effect of slip of a bud plant age was significant on plant height age of 21 result after plant, stolon number and the number of tubers per plant. Treatment of a bud plant age 2 weeks (u 1 ) provides the highest plant growth at age 21 result after plant of 29.47 cm and the number of stolon of 6.43. The highest number of tubers 5.33 per plant was obtained by the age of 2 weeks of age (u 1 ). The number of tubers per plant of 5.33 knol was obtained by treatment b 1 (one book). The highest weight of tuber 57.40 gr per plant,was gett in treatment u 1 (age of 2 weeks). The highest tuber yield per pl ot of 536.56 gr,was obtained by treatment u 1 (age of 2 weeks).The highest tuber yield per plot of 506.83 gr, was obtained by treatment b 1 (1 book).
