Its author, Suwartono (more known as Tono Suwartono in the academic world and publication) is expert in the areas and globally experienced. He has bound together his best papers and articles in a one-stop reference book – Ideas and Research in Language. As its title implies, this book is expected not only to serve as an information-rich reference book, but also as a source of inspirations for further works and inquiries in the part of the readers. This is made possible by the simplification (to some extent) of the language use and the presence of unique, creative ideas, theoretical reviews and investigation methodologies of various concrete examples and practical applications throughout the book.
