Abstract

Melon is a fruit crop has ahigh commercial value ang much in demand by the public on the form of fresh and processed fruit. The research aimed to know the variety gives the best response to the liquid organic fertilizers, and the best type of organic liquid fertilizer opnj the growh and yield of melon. The research was conducted in Banjarsari Kulon village, Distric Sumbang, Banyumas. The researrh used Rondomized Completely Block Desgn (RCBD) wuth two factors. The first factor, six varieties of melon was Silver Light, Aramis, Glamour, Action 434, Jade Dew, Glden Aroma, and the second factor, the three types of liquid organic fertilizer D.I Grow, organox, and NASA. The results showed that the varieties that gave The best response was action 434 with fruit weight 1.766,91 g, and low weight was Silver Light varieties 413,19 g. The treatment of organic fertilizers not significant So the combination of variety and liquidorganic fertilizers did not improve growth and yield of melon.
