Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the perfomance of F1 in the order of rice improvement with a low glycemic index and fluffier rice texture. The experiment was conducted in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Unsoed greenhouse from July to October 2015. Variabel observed were plant height (cm) total tiller number and the number of productive tillers. The data obtained were tested with relative value (RV) in order to see the family resemblance F1 against both parent. Conclusion of this study are: 1. There is a F1family hybrid offspring Cisokan x Ciherang, Cisokan x Inpari 13, Batang Lembang x Inpari 1, Batang Lembang x Ciherang has the same appearance with the parent; and 2. A F1 family hybrid offspring Cisokan x Ciherang, Cisokan x Inpari 13, Batang Lembang x Inpari 1, Batang Lembang x Ciherang have a different appearance with the parent.
