Abstract

This study aims to determine the affective attitudes of students when faced with various conditions of tolerance and diversity. The objective of this research is to find out how the attitude of tolerance and diversity of students in the student environment, both in the school environment and in the community, especially during the Covid-19 period. This type of research is a preliminary study with a descriptive approach and the instrument used is a questionnaire (questionnaire). The subjects of this study were 433 Vocational Senior High School 1, 2, and 3 Pati students consisting of 3 schools spread across Pati district. The data processing technique uses 4 steps, namely: data collection, editing, coding, tabulation. it can be concluded that it is quite good. This is based on research on the attitude of students who want to respect other people's opinions of 77.7%, and 79% of them want to respect other people's beliefs, and 62% want to respect other people's political choices, and 53% want to respect other people's culture and customs. , and the last 64% they answered can be reached with other people. From the findings above, it can be said that the attitude of tolerance and diversity of class XI students of Vocational Senior High School 1, 2, and 3 Pati is quite good, the need for an increase in needs analysis can be a reference for further research. However, the development of Islamic Religious Education E-modules is needed as an alternative for learning during the Covid-19 period that is feasible to use and can strengthen students' tolerance.
