Abstract
The importance of knowing the validity and legibility of teaching materials is a background for the author to conduct research. This study has focused on describing the reality and legibility of team-based project teaching materials in Indonesian language courses. This research is a quantitative descriptive study to describe the validity and readability of Teaching Materials Based on Team-Based Projects in Indonesian Language Subjects. Validity is measured using a validation sheet and then determined based on validation by experts, which is stated as valid or invalid. If valid, it will be categorized again as very good, good, poor, and very poor. Two validators carry out the validation process. The readability of teaching materials was measured using a legibility sheet and was categorized again as very good, good, moderate, insufficient, and very poor. Readability level is a measure of whether a reading is appropriate for a particular reader in terms of difficulty or ease of discourse. The conclusion from the results of this research is that (a) the teaching materials developed are valid in excellent categories; (b) the teaching materials developed are legible in suitable categories. Thus, this teaching material can be used in Indonesian language lectures.
