Abstract

Mathematical model that describes heat and mass transfer during solid-fermentation of Aspergillus oryzae in rotating drum bioreactor was developed by Stuart and Mitchell. The mathematical model were integrated numerically using fourth and fifth order Runge-Kutta formulae coded in MATLAB.
