Abstract

The goal of this research is to observe the ability of anaerobik process to treat biodiesel wastewater. Bioassay for toxicity was used to evaluate the anaerobic process performance. Result shows that the biodiesel wastewater could be degraded by the microorganisms in the anaerobic process. Biodiesel wastewater was a readily biodegradable and it was not toxic to the anaerobic biomass. The results show that the anaerobic process was capable to treat biodiesel wastewater.
